Collax Groupware Suite

The new groupware suite based on Grommunio has been successfully launched on the market for some time now and has proven itself in a wide range of productive environments—including large installations with well over 100 users. The practical experience gained from this has been directly incorporated into further development. Many settings are now automatically optimized in the background—for example, depending on the number of users—thus ensuring greater efficiency with minimal administrative effort.

In addition, integration with Active Directory has been significantly expanded. New features, such as the deputy rule, are now also available to AD users. At the same time, integration has been further improved and tailored specifically for Active Directory environments that have evolved over many years.

We have tested, approved, and integrated the new Grommunio version 3.5 into this update. Please note that, just as with an Exchange connection, all instances of Outlook should be closed.

Disk management has also been extensively revised: changes to disk size can now be made without a reboot.

As always, a number of components have been updated to address known security vulnerabilities.
