Once again, security vulnerabilities have become known for Intel and AMD processors that need to be closed.

In order to solve the security problem Downfall, a new microcode has been deposited for the affected Intel processors. This is transferred to the processor during booting.

A new microcode was issued to address the security problem Zenbleed on affected AMD processors. This microcode is passed to the processor when the system is booted in order to close the security holes.
