Let’s Encrypt is a certificate authority that offers free X.509 certificates for SSL encryption.

We provide you with the new add-on module “Collax Let’s Encrypt”.

The usual manual processes are simplified by an automated process. The CA of the Let’s Encrypt certificates is preinstalled with all common web browsers as a trustworthy root certification authority. This means that browsers do not report any warnings or errors on web pages that encrypt HTTPS with a Let’s Encrypt certificate. Let’s-Encrypt certificates are primarily intended for the encryption of web pages. However, they can also be used for other purposes.
